We have completed MVP (minimum viable product) of GOP surrogate model software. The functional capabilities including both interpolation and optimization are listed below:
  • handling of up to 100 variables
  • regardless of the sampling patterns (periodic or random)
  • operational in hypercube domain
  • producing interpolation results at any location in design space with confidence levels
  • finding the optimum locations
  • reporting a short list of the best possible results

The operational environment of GOP surrogate model implemented in terms of Javascript language requires:
  • standard web browsers
  • all input data are formatted according to Javascript coding
  • all output data are presented in the browser and/or saved locally
Due to the statistical nature of the surrogate model, it is necessary to find out the best control parameters used in the algorithm. The way to find a better answer is going through a public Beta testing to try out external data from the actual working environment. It is time to invite the public to join the Beta testing phase of GOP. The Beta testing is also aimed at removing hidden bugs, tuning software codes, verifying output results and assuring performance validation. Instead of pursuing a traditional public Beta testing, our company adopts a managed hybrid Beta testing process. That is, GOP accepts external user data and conducts the actual testing process by internal teams. Finally, external users will receive the Beta testing results for verification. External users are welcome to submit their data for the GOP Beta testing and to obtain the testing report free of charge. However, if the user data needs to be edited for the testing, a service charge will be billed.

Here are the data submission procedure: (a) external user emails to GOP via fang@fanginc.com and indicates the interest of joining Beta testing phase. including the description of user data (for example, dimensionality, sample number, data format) to be submitted for the testing. (b) GOP will answer the email as whether the user can submit the data to join the test. (GOP will not ask nor accept any proprietary data for Beta testing. ) (c) GOP will provide user an intake web address for input data submission. A copy of Beta Privacy Policy will be sent as well. After the Beta testing process, GOP will email the result to the external user and ask for feedback. Note that the Beta testing will be done in accordance wiht the available resource at GOP.
